World Cancer Research Day

World Cancer Research Day takes place on 24 September 2019, and is a worldwide initiative to promote cancer research, with the eventual aim of defeating cancer. Cancer is projected to become the leading cause of death worldwide, with an increase to 21.6 million new cases per year predicted by 2030.

The World Cancer Research Declaration calls for the active involvement of citizens, entities, institutions, and leaders to join efforts in order to promote research and combat against cancer!
